Where can I find information about the upcoming events?

Our upcoming events schedule can be found on the Events page. You can also check out our social media for updates. We use WhatsApp to keep clients and carers updated regularly.

How can I participate in the programs at Skills Up?

You can contact us to schedule a visit or find out more information. We welcome individuals to visit our Education Centre, meet staff and chat about our provision. We offer free taster sessions to make sure the group is a good fit for you. We can help liaise with your social worker to arrange provision.

All of our sessions can be self-funded or paid for using Direct Payment budgets. Sessions are charged at the Direct Payment Agency rate (currently £22.87 per hour). One daily session is 5 hours and costs £114.35. We try to keep costs in sessions to a minimum, avoiding extra charges where possible.

How can I get to Skills Up?

We are located in Runcorn Old Town, close to the bus station if clients wish to use public transport. We have a car park with direct access to our door for carers to drop off/collect clients. Many clients use the council transport, having it included in their support plan. Some use other door to door services that can be arranged.
